Last week you’ve seen a couple of pics from the Jason Wu for Target collection, today here are more images! Can’t wait to see the full lookbook! Love all the looks so far!! I am very excited!
The collection will be available February 5 through March 6, 2012. Ranging in price from $19.99 to $59.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $49.99 for handbags and scarves, available at most Target stores and Target.com.
Alexander Wang’s playful sportiness and menswear-inspired tailoring are back for Pre-Fall 2012. “We started with the idea of tromp l’oeil, something quite classic but less in a whimsical way and more the idea of deceptive textures and patterns,” Wang explains. Thus, the season’s pencil skirts, structured jackets, and cropped trousers are punctuated with clever tactile details: peek-a-boo pleats, mesh knits “printed” with geometric burnouts, and fine wools coated with a suede-like metallic. Accessories include a clutch in the form of a jumbo eyeglass case and a miniature version of the Rocco bag called the “Rocky”.

The women’s collection is light and feminine, with a berries and butterflies print on dresses, tops, negligées, dressing gowns and a silk cashmere cardigan. There are also white jeans, bikinis, and accessories such as charm bracelets, print bags, ballet flats and high heels. For men, the focus is on fashion classics like a leather detail wool blazer, jeans and denim shirts, alongside pleat-front shorts in cotton or denim.

I’m so excited for the Marni at H&M collaboration! Can’t wait to see the Sofia Coppola’s campaign film for the collection. For the collaboration with Marni, H&M has also announced a special T-shirt to raise funds for the Red Cross in Japan to help with its continuing earthquake relief work. 25% of sales from the special unisex T-shirt will be donated to the Red Cross in Japan. The T-shirt is part of the Marni at H&M collection and will be available in 260 H&M stores worldwide from March 8, 2012, nearly a year after the earthquake struck.
The design of the T-shirt is pure Marni and features a child hand-drawn image full of charm and optimism. The t-shirt will be displayed with its own hangtag to let customers know of the charitable donation.

Back in October, I’ve posted about the nOir Jewelry x L.A.M.B. collaboration here are more photos from the collection. nOir Jewelry designer Leeora Catalan and Gwen Stefani came together to collaborate on an entire jewelry collection which will be available beginning February 2012. The collection will be available at department stores, high end specialty boutiques, and online at noirjewelry.com.
The collection features four groups with inspiration drawing from very different areas, but all coming together in a cohesive way that also represents both of the brands. India was a huge inspiration in the entire collection, as well as punk references that both Stefani and Catalan are known for. Enamel, studs, and cords are all components in the collection, used in various ways with geometric shapes and prints. Bangles and rings are stacked to add drama to the looks on the runway, but can be worn individually for a more everyday look.

Taking a peek at the lookbook for his Spring/Summer 2012 collection reveals all over sequined shirts, a gold-winged jacket, and a purple leopard print kimono with the image of a surfing gorilla printed on it. Scott’s apparel range previewed here very much builds on the themes from his sneaker lineup, with a lot of the familiar imagery crossing over; some of the shirts straight up spot photos of said shoes. I am in love with the sequined dress and the gold leather jacket! I know the looks are a little over the top but for my “take a risk” followers= what’s your fav piece?
SInce there is no specific inspiration for adidas Original Jeremy Scott‘s Spring 2012 s footwear collection, it is safe to say that it is still AWESOME!! It definitely stands out from the rest and is made to create a lasting impression. The materials – ranging from denim to leather and suede – are as diverse as the looks themselves, which include boots, sandals, sneakers and loafers. The JS Wings, which caught on big last season, are back in a light denim texture as well as a Stars & Stripes edition, but the pieces that are sure to draw the most attention will be the one-of-a-kind Gorilla and Leopard sneakers, the vented leather sandal and combat boot. The yellow colorway of the tongue-exaggerated hi-top is just beyond amazing.
Whether you like them or not, Scott’s Spring Collection definitely lives up to the adidas Originals name. Check out all the styles below. 😉
The David Beckham for H&M collaboration images of the ad campaign has released! Drooling! The collaboration is an ongoing collection, so you’ll be able to wear “Beckham” for awhile guys. 😉
According to the press release, the “first collection introduces nine underwear styles for men which will go on to form the products of the long-term unique partnership between David Beckham and H&M. Designed by David’s in-house team and sold exclusively at H&M, the focus is on fit, function, comfort and design, avoiding overt branding to present a range of new classics, comprising of briefs, boxers, vests, T-shirts, pyjamas and long johns. The result of eighteen months of research and development, the collection aims to set a new standard in men’s bodywear for the 21st century. Available from February 2, 2012 in 1,800 H&M stores worldwide as well as on-line (where available).”

It doesn’t hit stores until Feb. 5, but already a few images of the Jason Wu for Target collection are trickling in. Inspired by French New Wave films and actress Jean Seberg, the capsule features a selection of want-now separates — blouses with Peter Pan collars, pleated skirts, and nautical-tinged dresses — as well as a hefty assortment of luxe-looking handbags and accessories. “My goal was not to duplicate anything from my main collection,” Wu explains. “Instead I designed completely new clothes and accessories that reflect my taste and have a voice of their own.” With prices under $60, it seems that soon everyone will be able to afford a little piece of Wu to call their own as well.
