MAC Sized to Go Collection

I love MAC cosmetics and when I heard that they were coming out with this collection, I love them a little bit more. Conviently packaged for easy travel use and God knows how much I love to travel. Son on my next overseas trip I will be packing light along with my new MAC goodies. 🙂

In travel, small has a virtue that goes beyond size. It’s mandatory! And in your M·A·C skincare formula of choice, small universally approved volumes of 30 ml or less are not only more tote-able, they allow you to carry on all of your favorite regime: Fix +, Cleanse Off Oil, Cleanse Off Oil/Tranquil, Pro Eye Makeup Remover, Demi-Wipes, Studio Moisture Cream, Strobe Cream, Green Gel Cleanser and Oil Control Lotion – everything you need to keep your skin cleansed, refreshed and hydrated. In anything but a round-the-world marathon, small is most likely all you need. These handy sizes also favour local jaunts and can be great for the space-challenged.

MAC SIZED TO GO collection will be available June 9th in the permanent collection, exclusively at MAC stores.

Converse x Marimekko Fall 2011 Collection

I WANT !!!! Converse and Marimekko first collaborated last season, due to popular demand they’re back with a fall collection! The collection features the Chuck Taylor All Star and the Jack Purcell shoe, prints selected for Fall 2011 were created by the well-known Marimekko master Maija Isola as well as Marimekko’s young rising talent Maija Louekari. The collection features the most famous Marimekko print of all time, the Unikko design, the Paprika pattern, and also entirely new Marimekko prints designed for Converse are the Kaleidoskooppi and Poni patterns by Maija Louekari. Kaleidoskooppi, inspired by a kaleidoscope, and Poni, based on an image of round, plump hoof prints left by a small pony.

The Converse ♥ Marimekko collection will be available nationwide and globally at premium retail outlets beginning in June 2011 and online at www.converse.com on June 23, 2011.

Can’t wait to get them all… super cute 🙂

Bright Eyes — 6 Perfect Summer Eyeshadow Looks

Six super-chic eyeshadow trends, scooped straight from the Spring 2011 runways. Summer beauty is all about a carefree, playful mood, so why not experiment a bit? From golden shimmers to super-saturated blues, here are our favorite shadow looks to try.

Green Gleam

Super-saturated, shimmery green tones were all the rage at the Jason Wu Spring 2011 show. Models sported two-tone washes — colorblock for the eyes, if you will. Use a lighter shade in the inside corner to make eyes appear extra-wide.

From top to bottom: Palladio Baked Eyeshadow in Green Apple, $7; Lancome Color Design Sensational Effects Eye Shadow in Montage, $17; Sue Devitt Hydrating Marine Minerals Destination Eye Palette in Green Isle, $38

Electric Avenue

A fresh take on classic blue, spotted backstage at Rochas Spring 2011. This vivid hue looks especially charming with a tan — sweep bronzer across cheeks to accentuate cheekbones and balance the intensity of the shadow.

Rumor: Kanye West is in Paris Designing a Collection for Spring 2012

Fashion breaks Kanye’s heart. He said so himself when he was named “Stylemaker of the Year” by the Accessories Council last year. Since then, he’s become a fixture at fashion shows (even if he had some trouble getting into the shows in Paris this past season), met with folks in the biz for advice on starting a line–like a professor at Central Saint Martins and A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou, and most recently collaborated with famed French graphic design and art direction team M/M to produce a collection of silk scarves.

The rapper obviously takes fashion seriously (I mean, the man performed in spring 2011 Celine at Coachella), so it should come as no surprise that he’s working on a collection in Paris, according to the UK’s Telegraph. West has reportedly taken up residence in Paris and will show a collection for spring 2012 in a “presentation-style format” this coming September. And since Yeezy doesn’t do anything half-assed, I’m expecting great things from him.

Joyrich X Keith Haring

I WANT IT ALL!!!!  I’m loving the Joyrich x Keith Haring summer collection! I’m obsessed with the accessories and bikini-GOTTA HAVE IT! The collection features swimwear for men and women, tote bags, backpacks, sunglasses and more. I need the entire collection, even the men’s trunks for my honey 😉 How cute are it??? Look out for the collection at Joyrich stores and Karmaloop.com soon!

Rumor Has It: Diane Von Furstenberg Set To Collab With Gap Kids o_O

I love rumors—well, at least the good kind. 😉 And this morning’s whispers over a Diane von Furstenberg collaboration with Gap Kids are all sorts of goodness. Gap Kids’ team-up with designer Stella McCartney was a knockout, and I have every reason to believe that Diane could help the national chain once again strike kiddie retail gold. According to sources, the collection is set to hit stores later this year—just in time for back to school season perhaps? Adding fuel to the fire, Gap’s spokesman gave a stock “no comment,” to reporters from Racked, while reps from DVF have yet to respond. I think there’s no reason to be shy; von Furstenberg’s bold prints are pitch-perfect for children, and mini wrap dresses? Too cute for words.

Summer Sneaker Obsession: Karina Petroni For Rachel Roy’s Boho Blue High Top

It’s my summertime mission to reinvent the cut-off + T-shirt + sneaker combo each time the mercury starts to rise. These Rachel Roy sneakers are going to make my summer uniform all the more special. In collaboration with surfer Karina Petroni, these kicks feature a woven boho pattern, a cool-blue shade, and a dusty red sole that’s reminiscent of clay-top roads. And for $99, it’s a fun buy that won’t wash away your summer savings. Cop yours, here!
