adidas Originals by Rita Ora

adidas Originals by Rita Ora

adidas Originals has tapped Rita Ora to collaborate for three seasons, the first to debut Fall/Winter 2014. For the first collection expect heritage classics carved up, re-cut and emblazoned in bold graphics and vibrant colors. Love the first look which shows us just how funky the collection will be! Right up my alley if you ask me 😉

Rita says, “The collaboration came about through mutual love and appreciation. I have always been a fan ofadidas originals and respect what they stand for in their fearlessness and originality. I worked very closely withadidas originals to put a personal touch in every piece with connections to my music, my career and my life. I’m really proud of the collection and beyond excited for my fans to get their hands on it!”

Altuzarra X Target Announce Fall Collaboration

This morning, I arrived to work to the news that Joseph Altuzarra has officially signed on board to be Target’s next designer collaborator!! That’s right: The big, old bull’s-eye is getting a dose of seriously elegant, French style by way of one of New York’s most sought-after designers.

With little more than a single sketch to tease the designs to come, we can come to the conclusion: The 50-piece collection will feature a feminine, full-sleeved maxi-dress, and likely other sophisticated designs, courtesy of the former CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner. Once again, the collection will not only be available in Target stores and online, but also through Net-A-Porter, which first joined Target for its Peter Pilotto collaboration just last winter. The Joseph Altuzarra for Target collection will officially arrive September 14, once again providing the perfect post-Fashion Week treat for the masses. Check out the boudoir-scene sketch below for more subtly exciting hints.

MARC BY MARC JACOBS FALL 2014 PREVIEW EVENT

20140409_192004

LOVE Marc Jacobs and was so excited to attend the Fall 2014 Marc by Marc Jacobs Collection Preview on Wednesday April 9th. It just so happens that on that day it was also Marc Jacobs birthday! He turned 51 years old and I can’t tell you enough how the excitement was all over the room at the preview.

The colors and prints he used for this collection remind me of comic books and racing stickers, but there was also a hint of rocker chic! You can’t take your eyes off the pop of color he used to accentuate the accessories of collections. Marc by Marc Jacobs collections has also received a very noticeable upgrade to its fabrications. The leathers are more supple and premium in touch making you want to splurge on the entire collection. Please make your way to his stores and online in August when this entire collection will be available for purchase.

“Luella Bartley and Katie Hillier were appointed design director and creative director, respectively, of Marc by Marc Jacobs in the spring of last year, but the duo’s return to the spotlight has been anticipated for far longer than that, and the excitement has been mounting ever since. In fact, fly posters scrawled with their names and circled by a heart have been popping up all over the city in the last week. “We have no idea who’s doing it,” said Bartley before the show. “But it’s nice to feel the love.” She was the secret girl crush of a generation of young women with her eponymous label back in the early naughts along with longtime cohort Hillier, and she wrote the book on cool London style quite literally (her acclaimed guide finally published in the States last fall).” Vogue Magazine

Chanel Fall 2014 Handbags & Accessories

Chanel Fall 2014 Handbags & Accessories

The supermarket theme that Karl Lagerfeld created for the Chanel Fall 2014 at the Grand Palais was unbelievable and a definite sight to be seen.

Now here’s a closer look at the handbags and accessories that will be available come September. Can’t wait to see the pieces in real life! I also wonder if they will merchandise the handbags same as they did in the runway show, you know Saran wrap and all…  😉
