H&M is proud to announce its autumn collaboration with Parisian designer Isabel Marant. With her effortless style, Isabel Marant has created a widely influential and successful take on Paris chic. Mixing urban attitude, boho elegance and rock ‘n’ roll spirit, she delivers a genuine French allure. For H&M, Isabel Marant will create a wardrobe of must-have pieces inspired by her signature style. Available from November 14, 2013, in around 250 stores worldwide and online, the collection features clothing and accessories for women and teenagers. Isabel will also, for the first time, create a collection for men.

“I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honour. I aim at creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality” says Isabel Marant.

“We are excited to have Isabel Marant as a guest designer at H&M. The way she mixes different elements in her collections, creating a style that is effortless and urban, makes her very contemporary. She has a fantastic eye for ethnic detail and the rare ability to create something that people really want to wear. Born and raised in Paris, Isabel Marant started customising her own clothes while still at high school. A graduate of the famed Studio Berçot, Marant worked her way up the fashion system starting with a jewellery line, then adding knitwear, finally launching her eponymous collection in 1994. Today she runs an internationally successful fashion powerhouse with a string of boutiques worldwide. Her Parisian chic style, a mix of bohemia and masculine tailoring, grows in popularity season after season.

Now that all the pieces I wanted are already sold out, I just need to wait a few days to shop her new pieces. Now let’s take a look at the summer Rihanna for River Island campaign, shot at Milk Studios in New York by legendary photographer, Mario Sorrenti featuring models Jourdan Dunn, Bambi Northwood-Blythe, Ataui Deng and Tao Okamoto.

The collection will go on sale in selected stores and online from May 25th. Excited? YES!

I can hardly contain myself when I got the news that Phillip Lim is the next designer collaborating with Target!

The 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection for women and men will be available September 15th at most Target stores and Target.com. The  limited edition collection features a range of apparel and accessories, including shoes, bags and travel accessories.

“Since an early age, I’ve been intrigued by the idea of design evolution,” said Phillip Lim. “One of the reasons I wanted to collaborate with Target is because I felt that together we could create a collection that would inspire – one that is cool and chic, but still very accessible.”

Come September you can expect to see a “classic fall palette of neutral tones and prints,” the collection features more than 100 items and ranges in price from $19.99 to $299.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $59.99 for accessories. Standout pieces include bags, dresses and a trench coat for women, and shoes and a leather moto jacket for men. Travel accessories, such as a duffle and multipurpose pouches for women and men, round out the collection.

The collection consists of four totes inspired by their 2013 Members’ Favorite Resorts. This year’s 3rd Annual Member Favorites recognizes the most loved luxury resorts across nine categories. The kate spade new york Exclusively for Starwood Preferred Guest collection, celebrates travel with whimsical sayings reminiscent of Starwood’s most exotic destinations around the world.

The collection features coated canvas ‘carry on’ shoulder totes with leather handles, each adorned with a custom gold-foil travel inspired charm. Perfect for people that travel a lot, myself included. The collection features punchy phrases inspired by four of the nine SPG Member Favorite categories including; Spa Indulgence, Romantic Retreat, Island Paradise, and Golf Getaway. The phrases, which were inspired by four of the SPG Member Favorites categories, appear on bold teal, red, green and hot pink totes to evoke memorable vacations: Rest & Relaxation, Par For The Course, Love Is In The Air and Paradise Island.

The bags will launched this month coinciding with kate spade new york’s 20th Anniversary “Things We Love” Travel and Adventure month. To celebrate the launch, one lucky winner will have the opportunity to travel to one of the 2013 SPG Members’ Favorite resorts. Retailing for $199, the collection will be available for purchase in kate spade new york stores and online at katespade.com. SPG members will also be surprised with the totes when and where least expected.

Chanel launched a new glossimer collection called Révélation in the spirit of the easy elegance of Gabrielle Chanel. The collection features a palette of lipglosses and a nail colour. There are 10 lipglosses from subtle sheen to sparkly metallic, a color to compliment every look with ease. Each lipgloss retails for $29.50 and the nail colour retails for $27.00. Available starting in April 2013.

Patrick Robinson Named Creative Director of A/X Armani Exchange

In the space of two weeks, Patrick Robinson has signed on for another new job. The designer has been named creative director of Armani Exchange, the sporty younger arm of the brand he once worked for, Giorgio Armani.

According to WWD, Robinson’s responsibilities will “range from product development to providing creative direction in marketing areas.” He’ll report to Armani Exchange’s CEO, Harlan Bratcher.

Robinson was last in the news exactly one week ago today when he revealed plans to start a sportswear line called Paskho, which he’s funding through Kickstarter. In hisKickstarter post, Robinson said he lost his passion while he designed for big brands like Anne Klein and Perry Ellis, and wanted to focus on something smaller. “Somewhere between Giorgio Armani and the Gap, I had stopped designing clothes and had instead become the guy who manages the people who design the clothes,” he wrote. “I love to design clothing. Simple, beautiful, comfortable clothing that people can afford. It was this desire that led to my new endeavor: Paskho — ancient Greek for passion. Paskho is my passion.”
