I’m really feeling the new H&M Conscious Exclusive collection for Spring 2013. The collection features clothing and accessories for both men and women, and is part of H&M’s Conscious work to offer more sustainable fashion. The collection is made of materials including organic cotton, recycled polyester, recycled polyamide and Tencel.

The Conscious Exclusive collection will be available in around 140 stores worldwide as well as online from April 4, 2013.

The partywear collection was inspired by Old Hollywood consisting of gowns and sharp tailoring for women, and a rock and roll red carpet style for men. I’m especially loving the lace dress featured in the picture above, definitely need it! Affordable pricing and chic looks, AND good for the environment!! -You can’t go wrong 😉

Beyoncé for H&M Summer 2013 Ad Campaign

Beyoncé looks AMAZING in H&M‘s new summer 2013 ad campaign!

Beyoncé will appear in television and print ads featuring pieces from the H&M summer collection. The print and outdoor billboards introduce “Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in H&M”, the idea that all women can be all things: strong, vulnerable, sensual, maternal, fun, flirtatious. The campaign images were shot in Nassau in the Bahamas by photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, while the commercial was directed by Jonas Åkerlund. The commercial highlights the opposing nature of the four basic elements and will be available to view online in its entirety, with edited versions for TV. The commercial also features a new song from Beyoncé, Standing On The Sun, which will be available worldwide online and hm.com beginning May.

“I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements – fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial,” says Beyoncé.

The summer campaign features swimwear and beachwear pieces as well as a tie-dye bikini from this summer’s H&M for Water collection. 25% of sales from the H&M for Water collection will be donated to H&M for WaterAid. The clothing will be available beginning May in H&M stores worldwide and online.

Loving the pre-summer collection of fashion essentials and accessories, the campaign features Joan, Daphne, Lindsey and Liu themselves. This collection is edgy with a hint of laid back to it. On a previous post I showed H&M‘s Conscious Collection featuring actress/singer Vanessa Paradis, now here’s a look at the menswear and Divided collection. The full women’s collection will be available in H&M stores worldwide as well as online from March 25th, alongside Conscious collections for men – blazers, chinos, Ikat print shirts and shorts – as well as fun prints for kids and babies.

Coinciding with the campaign will be the launch of a Conscious garment collecting action at H&M. Customers will be able to bring any unwanted garments from any label to selected stores, and in return for each bag receive an H&M voucher, to a maximum of two bags per customer per day. H&M is the first store to encourage garment return on this scale, in an effort to prevent clothing from going to landfill.

LOVE the laid back-ness of all the looks! Makes me think of relaxing spring days….Can’t wait to shop this collection 🙂

Previously you’ve seen H&M‘s Summer 2013 women’s and men’s lookbooks, now here’s a preview of the collection. For Summer, H&M is back to the 90′s grunge era. Layering is key for the look, it’s a mix between girly and tough. The collection was inspired by the most influential catwalks for Spring 2013. Key garments includes: the transparent checked shirt, ripped denim, bold front printed tee and the apron dress. Print-wise, the check is the most important print; combined with patchwork, flowers and bold text prints.

H&M to show Autumn 2013 Collection at Paris Fashion Week

We all know what magic H&M can do with their designer collaboration fashion shows and events, and now for the first time, H&M will present its Autumn 2013 collection at Paris Fashion Week! Remember back in 2005 when H&M presented a fashion show in Central Park? Feels like ages ago, I’m pretty excited to see what H&M will be bringing to PFW. The fashion show will be held at Musée Rodin on February 27th.

The collection was created by H&M’s in house designers under supervision of Ann-Sofie Johansson featuring 25 looks, all key items for ladies. The collection will also be available at select H&M stores worldwide. Can’t wait to see the collection!

H&M X GIVENCHY !!!!! ?????

I just heard through grapevine that Givenchy for H&M could very well be happening, and despite it only being a rumor, i am beside myself with excitement!

Now that the Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection has officially hit stores, it seems like a good time for a new collaboration to get announced, although I’d just like to point out that nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

Rumors have been floating around Twitter (naturally) that Givenchy might be the next designer H&M is collaborating with, but details are currently few and far between.

If history has taught us anything though, speculation about H&M’s projects seem to usually be true, so I’m crossing my fingers that this one follows suit too because, let’s face it, who wouldn’t love to stock up on some affordable Givenchy in the near future?

I’ll keep you posted as soon as I know more; are you excited for it?
