Lately I am just loving Iggy Azalea !! This month the sultry Hip-hop songstress is featured in REVOLVE Clothing’s Summer 2014 lookbook. The lookbook was photographed by Chris Shintani featuring some of Iggy’s favorites looks for the summer. It’s resort season, Versace showed an urban, bold and luxurious collection fusing sportswear and tailored pieces with their iconic prints and vivid colors. There’s even a new take on tailoring featuring jackets with fluid cuts in matte jersey. Also mixing with the essential new jacket in a boxy shape made in modern silk cotton. Love all the sportswear inspired parkas in technical fabric that shimmer and colorful bomber jackets that are just to die for. Details consists of large pressed studs, double gold rings with Medusa heads, and zips that are like tribal jewelry.
Also loving the knee-high gladiator sandals and zip boot! This is definitely a sick collection!

I can’t believe October!!! Soon the year will end 😦 ! Time is flying by.
The weather here in NYC has been super unpredicatable. Just when you think it’s beautiful sweater time, BOOM, it gets hot again! But we know the winter chill is about to approach us and Zara is prepared with all the latest with their October selections. I’ve always loved the minimalist approach from Zara but their TRF is one of my favs. It’s basics with a bit of edge done just right. The key pieces in the TRF collection are so good, I’m especially dying for the Leather Sheepskin Jacket, oversized sweaters and skirts. So good! Going to do some online damage now.

Zara just released its February 2013 lookbook for the TRF line, as always the stylin’ of the looks are on point. The collection featured lots of ethnic inspirations. I’m always a fan of Zara’s new collections. I LOVE the embellished vests, denim button down shirts, embroidered jackets, ethnic print jeans and army green pieces! Can’t wait to shop the collection!
The Swedish mega-brand H&M has given us another reason to drool, and this time it’s the Spring 2013 collection. The latest from the brand is a western inspired extremely embellished (and affordable as always) collection of mini skirts, leather jackets, and baseball caps.
Taking some serious inspiration from the Spring 2013 runways, there are references to the Wild Wild West, as we saw at Derek Lam as well as fruity pineapple accents like we saw on the Moschino Cheap & Chic runway. But I’ll never complain about being able to afford a designer inspired piece and that’s what makes H&M so perfect for the mandatory wardrobe update when spring hits.
They have given tried and tested pieces like the leather mini and pencil skirt a whole new life by adding embellished leather accents and long tassels to step up the basics’ game. Entire monochromatic looks in red and black fit in perfectly for spring (case in point: I saw one colour looks day after day during fashion month), and turquoise stone bolo ties make us excited to embrace our inner cowgirl as soon as the snow melts away.
It’s all only a winter away.

Yesterday H&M previewed its Spring 2013 collection at the New York showroom showcasing bright color and vivid prints for men. According to the press release, the suit continues to be the key item with new cuts, colors and textures. There’s also graphic prints on suit jackets, pants, shirts and T-shirts. Some pieces were inspired by the 1950s featuring essentials like a baseball jacket or biker jacket. Accessories include printed scarves, espadrilles, ethnic-inspired shoes, sneakers and a baseball cap.
“This spring at H&M we’ve traveled through menswear heritage to make something that feels truly contemporary. It’s so exciting that men today are wearing more prints and color, and are confident enough to try something new in order to find their own personal style,” says Andreas Lowenstam, H&M’s head menswear designer.

I LOVE Pamela Love jewelry! For Autumn/Winter 2012, Pamela Love was inspired by art deco and industrial elements of both the 1920s jazz age and modern graphic design. Love’s new collection has a more geometric focus featuring classic shapes like chevrons, sunbursts, and geometric curves. I like!
“I like to mix polar aesthetics to create balance, and using elements of the Art Deco period felt like a perfect fit. No other artistic movement seems so flawlessly vintage and peculiarly modern at the same time. After exploding in the 1920s & 1930s and then finding a place again in graphic design in the 1980s, the shapes and patterns seem both retro chic and futuristic to me. I wanted to mix elements inspired by modern architectural landmarks like the Chrysler Building and the Paramount Theatre with similarly geometric silhouettes found in ancient religious landmarks like Ziggurats and Mesopotamian terraces.”
