Celia Birtwell For UNIQLO

UNIQLO has tapped British designer Celia Birtwell to create a capsule collection featuring the designer’s signature bold prints on t-shirts, tunic vests, shirts, jeggings, pajama pants, culottes, tote bags and scarves. The British textile designer fuses her iconic vintage and contemporary prints with UNIQLO’s modern Japanese global style to create a collection fit for spring. Prices range from $9.90 to $39.90 and will be available at all UNIQLO stores and www.uniqlo.com on March 11th.

Previously you’ve seen H&M‘s Summer 2013 women’s and men’s lookbooks, now here’s a preview of the collection. For Summer, H&M is back to the 90′s grunge era. Layering is key for the look, it’s a mix between girly and tough. The collection was inspired by the most influential catwalks for Spring 2013. Key garments includes: the transparent checked shirt, ripped denim, bold front printed tee and the apron dress. Print-wise, the check is the most important print; combined with patchwork, flowers and bold text prints.

MAC Archie Girls Makeup Collection

MAC’s new big makeup collaboration has the 12-year-old girl in me very excited.

It’s ARCHIE COMICS, you guys. Betty! Veronica! All recreated a lá MAC.

I always thought I was a Betty at heart — the quiet girl-next-door with a sweet disposition — but the Veronica line of makeup? Full of vampy reds and moody purples? Dang, I might be swayed toward the dark (haired) side.

Sugar-sweet peach and bubblegum pink personifies the cheerful, innocent Betty.

The Veronica line — deep red, purple, navy, etc. — is as bold and daring as the dark-haired heartbreaker herself.

The entire “Archie’s Girls” MAC Collection is available online NOW, and in stores February 7…just in time for Valentine’s Day.

rag & bone launches its first ad campaign for Spring/Summer 2013 featuring the one and only Kate Moss. The campaign was shot in England, photographed by Alasdair McLellan, and produced by Laird+Partners. Spring/Summer 2013 is a continuation of the minimalistic concept of creating unique, stripped back imagery. I WANT IT ALL!!

“We shot our first campaign on a deserted North London street so thought it would be an interesting contrast to follow up in a remote English village, which Kate happens to have an affinity for. It was also a fun play on our British heritage,” says Marcus Wainwright, Managing Partner.

VANS & LOVE ME

Vans x Love Me

Vans has teamed up with artist Curtis Kulig, famous for the LOVE ME tags across the streets of Los Angeles, New York and Tokyo for its Spring 2013 Classics Collection. The three-piece capsule  collection hits stores on February 1st just in time for Valentine’s day.

LOVE ME is featured in three distinct looks on Vans Classics. The Vans iconic red Authentic is adorned with an all over embroidered LOVE ME while the Checkerboard Slip-On becomes the canvas to a paint splatter design. Finally, the SK8-Hi Slim, a women’s specific style, features an oversize embroidered LOVE ME on the side panel.

In addition, Vans will be hosting bicoastal events in celebration of this special collaboration. This Friday, February 1st, Curtis will be hanging out at the Space15Twenty Urban Outfitters in Los Angeles with a curated LOVE ME pop-up and Polaroid exhibition. The night will feature DJ Sets from Aska from ESP and a special live performance by Sky Ferreira. Curtis will then head back to his current hometown of New York City on February 14th to celebrate the day of love at the Vans DQM General. Guests can look forward to a LOVE ME kissing booth, music, a Minx Nails x LOVE ME nail station as well as a signature neon LOVE ME sign at each event. If you can’t make the celebrations, you can send your special someone a LOVE ME message through the month of February with e-postcards designed by Curtis.

Rihanna Collaboration With River Island

I can’t wait to see Rihanna’s collection! Created in collaboration with British high street brand River Island it is bound to be AWESOME!

According to WWD, Rihanna will be launching the collection at London Fashion Week, the collection is made of up clothing and accessories, which will go on sale online and in store on March 5th. For the US and Japan, the collection will be exclusively available at Opening Ceremony.

Here’s a photo from Rihanna’s Instagram taken on December 4, 2012 featuring herself and models for her new River Island collection shoot. According to Rihanna, the campaign was shot by photographer Mario Sorrenti. Can’t wait to see the entire collection and get EVERY piece! 😉

H&M to show Autumn 2013 Collection at Paris Fashion Week

We all know what magic H&M can do with their designer collaboration fashion shows and events, and now for the first time, H&M will present its Autumn 2013 collection at Paris Fashion Week! Remember back in 2005 when H&M presented a fashion show in Central Park? Feels like ages ago, I’m pretty excited to see what H&M will be bringing to PFW. The fashion show will be held at Musée Rodin on February 27th.

The collection was created by H&M’s in house designers under supervision of Ann-Sofie Johansson featuring 25 looks, all key items for ladies. The collection will also be available at select H&M stores worldwide. Can’t wait to see the collection!
