While looking through the new looks for Jeremy Scott and adidas Originals collection, I have to admit the first thought that came to mind was what the hell is he thinking. But if you look closely, it is really just a work of art.
For Fall/Winter 2012, Jeremy Scott and adidas Originals brings back the 90s featuring flower and animal patterns, a new interpretation of the popular teddy bears. Another source of inspiration is technology featuring computer keyboard prints on classic sweatpants and on a truly feminine JS Keyboard dress. For his footwear collection, the JS Wings come in updated materials and colors and the women’s wedge is given some butterfly wings. The JS Hiking Boot is now dressed in a crazy light-green crocodile patent leather upper, and the JS Wings 2.0 is updated with running inspired meshes and reflectors. Other brand-new pieces include the iconic Superstar 80s revamped with a ripple rubber sole, and a women’s wedge based on an adidas track and field classic.
The collection comprises 31 apparel pieces and 18 footwear styles for men, women and kids. The adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott product line will roll out globally to adidas Originals stores, select accounts and online in August 2012.

Vintage fashions are having an incredible resurgence and Olive Oyl is poised to take over that style and potentially become an icon for vintage style. Last year Havaianas got everyone going cray for the Missoni ♥ Havaianas Collection, they’re back again for their second collaboration which is slated to launch in June just in time for summer. The collection will be available at Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Missoni boutiques, and on havaianas.com.
What makes this collection even more special is that it is “eco-friendly,” made from leftover rubber pieces from the manufacturing process and are mixed to achieve the unique signature Missoni zigzag patterns. I first saw the caviar manicure during New York Fashion Week and I must say I thought to myself this will only be good for special occasions. But when I saw one of my friends wearing this the other day, it made me want to try it myself. 😉 I love the 3D effect and it seems like it’s simple to achieve. I think I’m going to buy the Ciaté Caviar Manicure set on Sephora.com, the multi-colored pearls look great and fun for summer! The downside of the caviar manicure is that it only lasts about 48 hours (according to Sephora). Do you think it’s worth $25?
Versace kicks off Fall 2012 campaign season early with a moody black-and-white spread photographed by famed fashion image-makers Mert & Marcus. Starring Dutch newbie Elza Luijendijk — her debut season was just this past Fall 2012 — the five-page outing was styled by Joe McKenna and David Bradshaw, and also features male models Philipp Schmidt, Dmitriy Tanner, and Kaccey Carrig. “I’m really thrilled with our new campaign,” Donatella Versace said. “The result is bold, strong, iconic and perfectly conveys the sexy rock vibe of our Fall/Winter collection.”
