The Simpsons x Hello Kitty

I am a major fan of both THE SIMPSONS and Hello Kitty so I was extremely happy to hear that they are collaborating! This is the first-of-its-kind design collaboration featuring Hello Kitty and THE SIMPSONS ! The collaboration will be released in 2014 in in celebration of two milestone anniversaries: the 40th Anniversary of Hello Kitty and 25th Anniversary of THE SIMPSONS.

The unique collaboration art will make a first appearance at Brand Licensing Europe in London, Oct. 15-17, as part of a range of licensing partnerships celebrating the highly anticipated 25th anniversary season of THE SIMPSONS. Consumers can purchase items from the product line during the Back-To-School time frame in 2014.

Minju Kim's H&M Collaboration Hits Stores Today!

Minju Kim’s collaboration with H&M might not be the most anticipated designer partnership this Fall, but it’s definitely among the coolest. Kim, a 27-year-old graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, got the honor of having her wares sold at H&M when she won its annual design competition this year. And her whimsical, personality-packed collection hits select H&M stores and online today.

“Creating this collection with H&M has been an amazing experience,” Kim said. “My designs are about turning characters into outfits, and it’s exciting to think that these characters will soon be worn by people around the world.”

Kim’s imaginative pieces bring the fantastical world of Manga to life, and their colorful, optimistic color palette and inventive shapes are like nothing else you’ll find this Fall. You’ll be able to find the clothes online, in H&M stores, and at Opening Ceremony in the US, now. Until then, here’s a first look at the collection.

M.I.A. x Versus Versace

Versus Versace has tapped Grammy-award winning artist M.I.A. to launch a 19-piece capsule collection inspired by the bootleg Versace merchandise she found in London markets as a teenager. The collection for both men and women features kaleidoscopic prints mishmashed with famous Versace emblems, from the Versace logo to the interlocking Greek key on T-shirts, printed jeans, silk shirts, jersey dresses and military-inspired outerwear.

The capsule collection is the latest collaboration for the new Versus Versace, which lives online for the digital generation. The launch will be accompanied by a digital GIF campaign featuring images of M.I.A. and friends wearing the collection on East London markets, shot by Mexican photographer Jaime Martinez.

M.I.A. x Versus Versace will be available online and in select stores and http://www.versusversace.com on October 16th.

I LOVE GWEN STEFANI!! I’m so excited that Gwen Stefani and OPI teamed up to launch a limited edition collection inspired by the 2013 Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala that featured the theme “Punk: Chaos to Couture.” The collection consists of seven new limited edition nail lacquers for 2014, highlights from the collection include a bold red lacquer that pays homage to Gwen’s signature lipstick, a new semi-matte satin finish in shades of gold and black, and a mirrored chrome paired with a special base coat.

Gwen’s signature red OPI hue – Over & Over A-Gwen – is available in a boxed set, which includes Swarovski black crystals and silver, gold and pewter studs in bar, square, diamond and circle shapes for creating unique nail designs, as well as nail glue for easy application. Love.Angel.Music.Baby. and 4 in the Morning feature a new, semi-matte satin finish designed to be worn without top coat. Push and Shove, a bold chrome hue, is also worn without top coat but requires a special complimentary base coat – Lay Down that Base. One thin coat of Lay Down that Base topped with two thin coats of Push and Shove yields an intense, mirrored finish. The collection is rounded out with two glossy crème lacquers and one sparkly glitter shade: Hey Baby, I Sing in Color, and In True Stefani Fashion.

Gwen Stefani by OPI nail lacquers will be available beginning January 2014 for $9.00 ($10.95 CAN) suggested retail for each nail lacquer. The boxed set including Over & Over A-Gwen and SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS will retail for $14.95 ($18.95 CAN). I CAN’T WAIT!!! 🙂

Zara TRF October 2013 Lookbook

I can’t believe October!!! Soon the year will end 😦 ! Time is flying by.

The weather here in NYC has been super unpredicatable. Just when you think it’s beautiful sweater time, BOOM, it gets hot again! But we know the winter chill is about to approach us and Zara is prepared with all the latest with their October selections. I’ve always loved the minimalist approach from Zara but their TRF is one of my favs. It’s basics with a bit of edge done just right. The key pieces in the TRF collection are so good, I’m especially dying for the Leather Sheepskin Jacket, oversized sweaters and skirts. So good! Going to do some online damage now.

Isabel Marant for H&M – Mens Collection

Now here’s the full look the men’s collection! Like I said about the teens collection, I’m sure most of the collection would be acquired by all the women. The men’s collection consists of similar pieces in the women’s collection, printed jeans, shaggy sweaters, boots, printed tees and accessories. Are you guys ready to shop?!?!?

The limited edition Isabel Marant Pour H&M collection will be available from November 14, 2013, in around 250 stores worldwide and online, the collection features clothing and accessories for women and teenagers. Isabel Marant will also, for the first time, create a collection for men.

All these little sneak peeks of the Isabel Marant for H&M collection are KILLING ME!! Wish that they’d show every pieces once and for all!! Thanks to Harper’s Bazaar we get another look at some of the pieces from the collaboration which came straight from Marant’s catwalk archive. “It’s a mix-up of my favorite things, pieces you put in your luggage and say, ‘Oh, my God, if I lose my suitcase it’s going to be a disaster.’ I figured out what I wouldn’t like to lose, things I never get tired of, says Isabel Marant.” Super DUPER excited!
