Versace #POPMEDUSA Eyewear Collection

Versace launches its latest eyewear collection entitled #POPMEDUSA for Summer 2015. The collection is inspired from the brand’s rock-and-roll spirit and features a new design whose boldness is conveyed through the sun style profile. The iconic Versace Medusa head is applied on the temple, adding edginess to the latest Versace creations. Music icon, Madonna, is also the face for the #POPMEDUSA eyewear collection season. In the campaign, she is wearing the bold new round framed sunglasses in 4 different colorways.

Preciousness and sensuality: the bold round shape frontal is paired with wide temples at the hinge. An elegant design illuminated and accentuated by the application of the pale gold Medusa head, adding an extra daring detail that makes this collection truly iconic. This optical full acetate frame epitomizes the spirit of new Versace #POPMEDUSA Special Project collection, featuring an audacious yet classic elegance accentuated by the contemporary feel and bold thickness of the round front. This style is enriched by the bold detail of the Medusa de?cor applied in pale gold on the temple, next to the flex hinge. This frame is available in a range of colors that includes black or the following glitter options: violet, red and silver on plain black temples.

Superga and Versus has teamed up to collaborate on a sneaker collection for Fall 2014. According to WWD, the Superga x Versus Versace collection is a special edition of the classic Superga 2750 style in one of the key motifs from Versus’ fall collection. The sneakers feature bold colors, baroque prints and the Greek key on a cotton canvas with a vulcanized natural rubber sole. Both logos of the brand can be seen on the shoe.

The collection will be available starting this month in select Versace boutiques, Superga stores and at shop.versace.comand superga.com.

It’s resort season, Versace showed an urban, bold and luxurious collection fusing sportswear and tailored pieces with their iconic prints and vivid colors. There’s even a new take on tailoring featuring jackets with fluid cuts in matte jersey. Also mixing with the essential new jacket in a boxy shape made in modern silk cotton. Love all the sportswear inspired parkas in technical fabric that shimmer and colorful bomber jackets that are just to die for. Details consists of large pressed studs, double gold rings with Medusa heads, and zips that are like tribal jewelry.

Also loving the knee-high gladiator sandals and zip boot! This is definitely a sick collection!

M.I.A. x Versus Versace

M.I.A. x Versus Versace

Versus Versace has tapped Grammy-award winning artist M.I.A. to launch a 19-piece capsule collection inspired by the bootleg Versace merchandise she found in London markets as a teenager. The collection for both men and women features kaleidoscopic prints mishmashed with famous Versace emblems, from the Versace logo to the interlocking Greek key on T-shirts, printed jeans, silk shirts, jersey dresses and military-inspired outerwear.

The capsule collection is the latest collaboration for the new Versus Versace, which lives online for the digital generation. The launch will be accompanied by a digital GIF campaign featuring images of M.I.A. and friends wearing the collection on East London markets, shot by Mexican photographer Jaime Martinez.

M.I.A. x Versus Versace will be available online and in select stores and http://www.versusversace.com on October 16th.

Last week I’ve posted the lookbook images of the Versace for H&M Cruise 2012 collection featuring Abbey Lee Kershaw and River Viiperi, now here’s a look at the ad campaign. The poolside set looks pretty cool against the fruit prints and I swear Abbey makes everything look so good! Does this make you like the collection more? The collection is slated to release exclusively in markets where H&M online is available on January 19th.

The women’s collection is light and feminine, with a berries and butterflies print on dresses, tops, negligées, dressing gowns and a silk cashmere cardigan. There are also white jeans, bikinis, and accessories such as charm bracelets, print bags, ballet flats and high heels. For men, the focus is on fashion classics like a leather detail wool blazer, jeans and denim shirts, alongside pleat-front shorts in cotton or denim.
