In celebration of Disney‘s The Muppets starring Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Kermit, Miss Piggy and the entire Muppet crew, OPI launches twelve limited edition nail lacquers for Holiday 2011. The collection was inspired by the film’s namesake lively and colorful characters, this line features six shimmery reds and neutrals, as well as six glitter-packed shades. The collection launches in November and the movie opens in theaters nationwide on November 23, 2011! Love them all!!! Which one is your fav???

Ooh! New Nail Art How-To Videos with the Master, Manicurist Sophy Robson

I love Sophy Robson based on her work and her blog alone–hopefully someday I’ll be able to meet her in person and pick her brain for all her nail knowledge. But until then, I can just hang out on Sephora’s website.

The UK-based Robson just did a series of  how-to nail art videos, which coincide nicely with the retailer’s recent announcement that they’re going to start offering nail salon services in-store. I am also loving this new trend of actual experts–like Pat McGrath’s collab with Cover Girl–posting videos about how to get certain beauty looks. (Not that we don’t admire the enthusiasm of all those 15-year-olds with YouTube accounts out there.)

Using Sephora by OPI products, Sophy walks you through how to get nail art looks with names like “Cherry Blossom,” “Distressed Metal,” and “Wild Giraffe.” There are also handy recipes to teach you how to get each look.

OPI Launches Nice Stems!, Glam Slam! England & Texture Coat

OPI has two collections launching next month and a top coat coming in July! Nice Stems! and Serena Williams’ Glam Slam! England launches in June and Nicole by OPI’s Texture Coat launches in July, can’t wait to try them all!

First up, Nice Stems! (pictured) features new nail lacquers in shades of pink! We all love pink for the summer right? The shade’s names were based on their floral inspirations, which range from pale, frosty pink to rich fuchsia. Shades include: I Lily Love You (
light pink sparkle), Come to Poppy (shimmering coral-pink), Be a Dahlia Won’t You?
 (fuchsia) and Play the Peonies (soft-pink).

Next is Serena Williams’ third of four Glam Slam! collections, made in honor of the upcoming Wimbledon tournament. Glam Slam! England features two duo-packs filled with sparkle. The first Lacquer set includes Your Royal Shine-ness (metallic silver shade), paired with Servin’ Up Sparkle (silver glitter). The second Lacquer set also features Servin’ Up Sparkle, along with Grape…Set…Match (metallic purple).

Lastly is Nicole by OPI Texture Coat, a line of graffiti-style nail art products inspired by OPI’s bestselling Shatter. Available in six shades – Gold, Silver, Red, White, Turquoise and Black. I’m a fan of Shatter so I’m really excited about Texture Coat! To use this product, start with Base Coat Plus, followed by two coats of any Nicole by OPI nail lacquer. Let the lacquer dry completely before applying Texture Coat. Complete the manicure with Top Coat Plus for a high-shine finish. Texture Coat will be available July 2011 for $7.99 each.

OPI Launches Blue Shatters & Glam Slam! France Collections

Blue Shatters Blue, Navy and Turquoise

I’m obsessed with OPI‘s shatter nail polishes, so happy they extended the line with three blue-hued shades! The three new shatter shades includes: Blue, Navy and Turquoise. Inspired by graffiti art, Shatter leaves behind a crackled, two-texture finish when painted over any dry OPI hue. Adding top coat takes Shatter from matte to glossy in seconds. I love it! The collection launches this month, so get your shatter on!

Since Serena Williams’ first Glam Slam collection with OPI is so popular, they team up again with four additions to the collection, including two new shades of Shatter – Red and White. Launching in conjunction with the French Open, Glam Slam! France celebrates with two duo-packs. The first Lacquer set includes Spark de Triomphe (a monumentally marvelous gold glitter), paired with White Shatter. The second Lacquer set features Rally Pretty Pink (rise to the occasion with this shimmering sunset-pink), paired with Red Shatter. New shades in the Glam Slam! collection will be introduced to coincide with each of the four major tournaments, beginning with the Australian Open which was January 2011, followed by launches this month for the French Open, June 2011 for Wimbledon and August 2011 for the US Open. Glam Slam! France will be available beginning this month.
