Nicole Richie and I are kindred spirits lol !! I love her lines Winter Kate and House of Harlow 1960! Nicole’s style is totally ME!!

For Spring 2012, Nicole’s Winter Kate collection was inspired by the mystical city of Rajastan, India. Nicole incorporates a bold palette of saffron, burnt ochre, peacock blue and amaranth to echo the exotic charm of the subcontinent, while continuing to stay true to her signature boho-chic style. Delicate silk embroidered bed jackets and frocks bring to life the intricacy and detail of the local handicrafts and provide a hand-worked feel, juxtaposing more minimalist pieces with a hint of Far East influence.

The look book shoot took place in the desert of California, shot by Alan Silfen (Lionel Richie’s go-to photographer) and styled by Nicole’s friend and stylist Samantha Traina. Cute right?

Burberry Pre-Fall 2012

Christopher Bailey was in a demure state of mind while designing the Burberry Pre-Fall 2012 collection. Colors are muted, waists are nipped while hemlines run longer, and half of the evening gown options have sleeves. A whiff of the ’30s also runs through, between the chrysanthemum print dresses and the ruched bow belts that played a part in almost every look.

Preview Karl Lagerfeld’s Upcoming Lower-Priced Karl Line

Karl Lagerfeld‘s new masstige Karl range will be available to buy exclusively from Net-a-Porter on Jan. 25, Natalie Massenet revealed this morning at the LeWeb conference in Paris.
Lagerfeld, also in attendance at the conference, previewed a video clip of the range — prices start at £150 (approx. $360) for a jacket — which can be seen below. He also talked about being “obsessed” with Apple, saying that he uses one of his several iPads to create videos — he filmed four web-only advertisements for Chanel last week — and to sketch out designs and ideas. To demonstrate, he showed the audience a sketch he did of Steve Jobs that morning, and then sketched himself on the iPad.

The 12-piece collection for both women and men was influenced by punk and gothic elements and accented with geometric shapes, spikes, pearls and crystals. This is the first time Forever 21 has worked with a jewelry designer to create a limited-edition collection. Priced from $4.80 to $15.80, you can’t go wrong! Love them all need them now!! 🙂

The Muppets x nOir Jewelry & FLüD Watches

Who has seem The Muppets movie? nOir Jewelry and FLüD Watches has teamed up with Disney to create The Muppets collection and it looks super cute!!

First up the nOir Jewelry for Disney’s The Muppets collection features oversized pearl necklaces, sparkly pink diamante stone bracelets and cocktail rings. Enamel statement necklaces, with their own quirky attributes are available in Animal, Piggy and Kermit, super old school! Prices range from $100-$175 and are available at noirjewelry.com.

Second is the FLüD Watches collab with Disney featuring the Exchange, Re-exchange and Pantone watch models. The collection stay true to the FLüD aesthetics of “simply more” by having a Warhol-esque take on Animal, Miss Piggy and Kermit sharing face time on the dials and with complementary straps. FLüD took their new holiday watch, the Pantone, and gave Kermit a similar treatment with his own piece. Each of The Muppets watches comes with limited edition Muppets branded packaging and laser-engraved casebacks. The watches retail for $60-$95 and are available at fludwatches.com.

MadeMe x Vans Collection

Clothing brand MadeMe are the latest women’s label to hit the collaboration ranks with their upcoming Vans collection for this fall season. Two models are available with subtle nods to some of Vans’ most popular models. The Camryn Plus has definite Chukka Boot influences as it features white cut-outs while the Wellesley Plus is a high-top with woven leather detailing.

Following up the initial collaboration video seen earlier in the month, Vans presents a follow up piece, created for the brand’s latest collaboration alongside clothing label MadeMe. The video follows somewhat of a music video format, directed by Erin Magee. Tigga Galore also makes an appearance, with music by Nina Sky. Enjoy!
