H&M Conscious Essentials Spring 2014 Collection

H&M gives you a sneak peek of its Conscious Collection launching this Spring featuring sporty romanticism as its inspiration. The small collection of Conscious essentials are made from sustainable materials and takes inspiration from the movement and shapes of modern dance, the assortment will be available in-store and online from mid-February.

BRA TOP: A sporty, versatile, grey top made from 100% Monocel®, a new bamboo fiber that feels just like cotton. It’s being used in H&M’s Conscious essentials for the first time.

H&M Conscious Essentials Spring 2014 Collection DROP SHOULDER SWEATER: Pale pink with a chic silhouette, in recycled polyester and Lycra®.

H&M Conscious Essentials Spring 2014 Collection KNITTED TOP: A short-sleeved, knit top in wool and Tencel® with a hi-low effect.

H&M Conscious Essentials Spring 2014 Collection DEEP V T-SHIRT: 100% organic cotton top in a gray mélange – the perfect layering piece.

H&M Conscious Essentials Spring 2014 Collection PEPLUM TOP: A sweet, short sleeved, peplum top, white stretch fabric made in recycled polyester.

H&M Conscious Essentials Spring 2014 Collection SWING SKIRT: Ankle-length and full of volume, in recycled polyester and Lycra®.

H&M Rules for Shopping Isabel Marant

It’s T-minus eight days until the Isabel Marant collection hits select H&M stores worldwide, and the retailer has just launched a dedicated microsite in anticipation. It features plenty of photos of the line, a countdown clock and video—all arranged in a Tumblr-like format.

According to the site, the H&M locations carrying the collection will open at 8am local time on November 14 and the online shop will begin offering the collab at 12pm EST. In the “how to shop” section, H&M explains that they will again be utilizing a wristband system to organize shoppers day-of. The first 420 people in line will be broken down into groups of thirty and each will receive a colored wristband that corresponds to their group. Each group will have 15 minutes to shop the collaboration, and there will be five minute breaks between groups while staff, presumable, straightens out and restocks. After three and a half hours, the collaboration will be opened up to everyone.

H&M will be enforcing a purchase limit to try to curb resellers. Each shopper can purchase four of a style in store and one item per style on online purchases only. Returns will be accepted for seven days after the collection’s release; after that, shoppers will be issued store credit. Happy Shopping!!

If you think you’ve seen all the images from the Isabel Marant pour H&M lookbook and campaign, here are some more that I received from H&M. The campaign features 13 renowned supermodels: Daria Werbowy, Alek Wek, Milla Jovovich, Devon Aoki, Lou Dillon, Malgosia Bela, Andreea Diaconu, Iseline Steiro, Sam Rollinson, Saskia De Brauw, Niels Schneider, Guillaume Mace and Clement Chabernaud. All the models look amazing in the collection, I seriously can’t wait to get my hands on ALL the pieces!

Minju Kim’s H&M Collaboration Hits Stores Today!

Minju Kim's H&M Collaboration Hits Stores Today!

Minju Kim’s collaboration with H&M might not be the most anticipated designer partnership this Fall, but it’s definitely among the coolest. Kim, a 27-year-old graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, got the honor of having her wares sold at H&M when she won its annual design competition this year. And her whimsical, personality-packed collection hits select H&M stores and online today.

“Creating this collection with H&M has been an amazing experience,” Kim said. “My designs are about turning characters into outfits, and it’s exciting to think that these characters will soon be worn by people around the world.”

Kim’s imaginative pieces bring the fantastical world of Manga to life, and their colorful, optimistic color palette and inventive shapes are like nothing else you’ll find this Fall. You’ll be able to find the clothes online, in H&M stores, and at Opening Ceremony in the US, now. Until then, here’s a first look at the collection.

Now here’s the full look the men’s collection! Like I said about the teens collection, I’m sure most of the collection would be acquired by all the women. The men’s collection consists of similar pieces in the women’s collection, printed jeans, shaggy sweaters, boots, printed tees and accessories. Are you guys ready to shop?!?!?

All these little sneak peeks of the Isabel Marant for H&M collection are KILLING ME!! Wish that they’d show every pieces once and for all!! Thanks to Harper’s Bazaar we get another look at some of the pieces from the collaboration which came straight from Marant’s catwalk archive. “It’s a mix-up of my favorite things, pieces you put in your luggage and say, ‘Oh, my God, if I lose my suitcase it’s going to be a disaster.’ I figured out what I wouldn’t like to lose, things I never get tired of, says Isabel Marant.” Super DUPER excited!
