H&M Conscious Collection Fall 2011

Back in July you’ve seen a preview of H&M‘s Fall 2011 Conscious Collection, now here’s a look at the full collection. The Fall 2011 collection was inspired by the sweet romance of Swedish folklore, each piece in the collection is made with more sustainable materials like organic cotton or linen to recycled wool and organic hemp. The ladylike collection features embroidered wool coats, lace blouses, floral printed dresses and shoes. There are also some exclusive homeware pieces such as a printed throw and cushions. The Conscious Collection will be available in selected H&M stores from October 6th.

H&M Trend Guide Autumn/Winter 2011 Videos

Here’s a look at the H&M  trend guide videos. For women, we will see fun and colorful pieces this Autumn/Winter, inspired from the 60s and 70s. Natalie Hartley, Editor InStyle Magazine, and Ann-Sofie Johansson, Head of Design predict both a fluid and well-tailored look as well as a sharp A-line silhouette. For men, Autumn/Winter will be a fun season with both functional and tailored pieces in cognac, khaki and burgundy tones, according to Gianluca Cantaro, Editor L’UOMO VOGUE, and Ann-Sofie Johansson, Head of design H&M. Make it personal and go for a loose relaxed out-doors silouette and/or a more classical look with skinny trousers.

We’ve seen H&M’s Fall 2011 lookbook in motion, now, the retailer is already thinking ahead to Winter. From the just-released Winter 2011 lookbook images, it appears that color — lots of it — and ’60s-inspired bubble silhouettes are on the H&M designers’ minds. Frida Gustavsson, shot by Andreas Sjodin, does modeling honors for the occasion. Love this lookbook. Can’t wait to get it all. 🙂
